We're currently seeking a Commercial Truck Service Writer to join our growing team and help deliver top-tier customer support. Job Summary: As a Service Writer , you'll be the first point of contact for service customers. You'll help schedule repairs, write up service orders, and communicate between the customer and our service technicians to make sure jobs are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their service needs Open repair orders and gather all necessary vehicle and customer information Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper diagnostics and repair timelines Keep customers informed of repair status and estimated completion times Review completed work with customers and close out service tickets Handle warranty claims and coordinate parts needs with the parts department Maintain clear and accurate service records Qualifications: Prior experience as a service writer or service advisor in the commercial truck, diesel, or heavy-duty equipment industry preferred Basic knowledge of diesel truck systems and common repairs Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using service software and computer systems Valid driver’s license What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays A supportive team environment with room for growth Location: American Truck Centers 6875 E 54th Pl, Commerce City, CO 80022
