Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide leave coverage from early April through late May within a K-12 educational setting. This itinerant role will support students across six school sites, serving approximately 55 children ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through high school. The focus will be on students with physical and multiple disabilities, spanning mild to severe levels. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student mobility and functional goals. Utilize pediatric mobility equipment effectively in interventions. Travel between six schools to provide consistent therapy coverage. Document and maintain accurate records, including IEP reports. Qualifications: Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification in Physical Therapy. Prior experience working in Colorado schools. Strong knowledge of IEP writing and the educational process. Familiarity with pediatric mobility equipment and interventions for multiple disabilities. Ability to manage caseload across multiple sites. Location: This position services schools in the Littleton, Colorado area. Assignment Details: Leave coverage contract from approximately April 6 to May 22. Full-time hours with Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) support at the three largest schools. This temporary contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a diverse student population while gaining valuable experience in a school-based setting.
