Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-8
school serving a diverse student population, located in the Denver
metropolitan area. This contract role is ideal for an SLP with
experience working in school settings, holding the appropriate
credentials. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy
to a caseload of approximately 50 students, including 36 with mild
to moderate needs and 14 with moderate to severe challenges
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to
support students communication development Complete evaluations,
progress monitoring, and reporting in compliance with school and
district guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program
(IEP) meetings and develop appropriate goals Qualifications:
Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure or
certification for SLPs Experience working with school-aged children
(K-8) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language
disorders and appropriate interventions Location and Schedule:
Position is based onsite at Achieve Academy, 9100 Poze Blvd,
Thornton, CO 80229 Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week Contract
