An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education to support students with severe needs. This full-time contract position is in an elementary school setting, focusing on delivering tailored educational support to meet the unique requirements of each student. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in alignment with state guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to students. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and staff. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Qualifications and Experience: Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with severe special education needs. Ability to design and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to student success and inclusive education.
