Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An engaging opportunity is available for an experienced
Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism to support a
center-based program serving kindergarten through 5th-grade
students. This position is full-time, contract-based, and located
in the Denver area, at an elementary school on the eastern side of
the city. The program includes a caseload of 10 elementary-aged
students with autism and offers a collaborative environment with
seven paraprofessionals requiring supervision. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support
tailored to students with autism in a center-based setting.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs). Provide direct supervision and guidance to paraeducators
assisting in the classroom. Collaborate with school staff,
families, and related service providers to foster student growth.
Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and behavioral
data. Qualifications: Active Colorado teaching license with a
Special Education Generalist endorsement. Experience working with
elementary-aged students with autism. Ability to supervise and lead
paraprofessional staff effectively. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and
supportive learning environment. Work Details: Full-time, 37.5
hours per week, Monday through Friday. Contract duration through
May 21, 2026. Onsite position with no remote work option. This role
