Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. An opportunity to support elementary students in a
full-time Special Education teaching role is available in Longmont,
CO. This contract position spans from February to May and is ideal
for educators experienced in managing classrooms with students on
the autism spectrum. Responsibilities for this role include:
Delivering specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 9
students. Collaborating with paraeducators, school psychologists,
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Occupational
Therapists/Physical Therapists (OT/PT), and Speech-Language
Pathologists (SLP). Implementing effective classroom management
strategies tailored to the needs of students with autism.
Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
and maintaining detailed records. Engaging actively in team
meetings and contributing to a supportive learning environment.
Desired qualifications and experience: Valid State Special
Education teaching license (CDE license or COOL). Extensive
experience working with elementary students diagnosed with autism.
Strong classroom management skills. Ability to work onsite
full-time during class hours: 7:35 AM to 3:05 PM. Location:
Elementary school setting in Longmont, Colorado. Benefits:
