A position is available for a Paraprofessional supporting special education students in Denver, CO. This contract role begins ASAP and runs through 5/22/26, offering approximately 36.25 hours per week at an elementary school location. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of one full year working in special education classrooms Strongly preferred experience with significant/severe caseloads Availability to work flexible hours and potentially be reassigned to different school sites and age groups as needed Reliable personal transportation is required; public transit and rideshare services are not considered reliable Ability to start work by 7:40 AM (for elementary placement) Willingness to assist students with toileting and diapering, if necessary Must undergo fingerprinting immediately upon offer acceptance; any criminal charges may disqualify candidacy Important Candidate Requirements: Submit two completed professional references through the RefAssured system prior to considerationcandidates without these verified references will not be reviewed Include current location with your application Responsibilities: Provide instructional support to students with disabilities under supervision of classroom teachers Assist with daily classroom routines and student needs, including personal care support when required Follow guidelines set forth for paraprofessionals working with special education populations Adapt to changing assignments across grade levels and classrooms as directed This opportunity calls for a dedicated and adaptable paraprofessional ready to contribute positively in a supportive educational environment.
