Job Description:
Overview
- Resolve in-depth, complex technical issues regarding service
infrastructure and related components.
- Determine customer security requirements by evaluating business
strategies and expectations, researching information security
standards, evaluating architecture/platforms, and identifying
integration opportunities.
- Provide 'tier 3' and 'tier 4' in-depth analysis, incident
response, and troubleshooting support for managed security services
offerings.
- Participate in efforts to identify current gaps in service,
ultimately improving and streamlining the technical offerings of
the service.
- Collaborate with key peer stakeholders from other security
services verticals to align goals and create collaborative
capabilities, processes, and workflows.
- Participate in projects focused on developing the technical
strategy of the service offering, including efforts to enhance
maturity and competitiveness in the MSSP market.
- Engage in cross-functional projects with other teams, external
partners, and professional organizations.
- Advise SOC team on emerging security threats and assess current
service offerings to ensure robust defenses.
- Participate in designing, deploying, supporting, and maturing
new and existing managed security services.
- Develop and manage operational playbooks, procedures, and
standards.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.Responsibilities
- Work independently with excellent organizational and time

- Communicate clearly verbally and in writing to convey critical
problems and solutions to customers.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert in diverse cybersecurity concepts
and controls, capable of discussing, consulting, and driving
solutions for clients.
- Exhibit leadership skills within cross-functional teams.
- Deliver security technology implementation projects on
time.
- Experience working within a Managed Security Service Provider
(MSSP) environment.
- Experience with a SOAR platform, including creating
playbooks/runbooks and developing automation scripts in
Python.
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Microsoft Windows,
RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu Linux, and MacOS.
- Possess strong business acumen and drive towards business
growth.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or
equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- At least 5 years supporting security disciplines like incident
response, threat hunting, investigations, and security
infrastructure management.
- Minimum 5 years creating content such as detection rules,
integrations, scripts, etc.
- Current security certifications from recognized bodies like
