Job Description:

**Job Title: Invasive Cardiology RN**

**Job Summary:** Experienced RN required to provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, with a focus on invasive cardiology procedures.





1+ years of recent acute care RN experience preferred. This position will be based out of Memorial North, but will float between Memorial North and Memorial Central. Staff must be able to report to both campuses within 30 minutes for call.





**Key Responsibilities:**

--- Performs functions before procedure, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing patient's medical record to ensure safety checklist are complete.
--- Responds to life-threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
--- Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
--- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
--- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.





**Requirements:**

--- Credentials:
--- Registered Nurse
--- Basic Life Support
--- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
--- Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
--- Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
--- Minimum Experience: 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
--- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
