Job Description:
A company is looking for a Referral & Medical Authorization
Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Process referral requests for all providers within the clinic
module
Obtain referral/authorization numbers for necessary services
Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating access to specialty
and ancillary testing services
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or GED required
Prior experience in obtaining healthcare pre-authorizations in
Radiation Oncology
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT classification systems
Experience in a physician practice or hospital setting with patient
registration and insurance knowledge
Experience with third-party payors required
