RN - Forensic Nurse Examiner - *Variable Shifts* at Providence
Health and Services summary: The Forensic Nurse Examiner (RN)
provides specialized care to patients presenting with acute sexual
assault or non-fatal strangulation cases, following established
protocols under medical supervision. This role requires nursing
licensure, clinical experience, and adherence to patient-focused
and trauma-informed care in an emergency department setting. The
position offers variable shifts at Providence St. Peter Hospital
and supports professional growth within a comprehensive healthcare
system. Description Under the supervision of the FNE/SANE
Supervisor and Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director, with orders
when necessary from the Emergency Department Provider, the Forensic
Nurse Examiner follows protocols to provide independent,
comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the
Emergency Department with a complaint of acute sexual assault
and/or non-fatal strangulation. Providence caregivers are not

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year of Nursing
