Entrust Health. Position Overview As an IHSS Attendant, you will
assist individuals with personal care, daily living activities, and
essential home tasks to support their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled personal care including
bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance. Assist with
activities of daily living such as meal preparation, feeding, and
mobility support. Maintain a safe and clean home environment for
the consumer. Observe and report changes in the consumer’s
condition to the Registered Nurse and supervisory team. Complete
service documentation accurately, including time in/out and care
provided. Follow infection control precautions, safety protocols,
and agency policies. Attend staff meetings and ongoing training to
stay up to date with best practices. Qualifications: Must be at
least 18 years old. Possess a high school diploma or GED. Ability
to communicate effectively with consumers, families, and healthcare
teams. Successful completion of agency training and competency
evaluations. Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license or
access to public transit). Physical Requirements: Ability to stand,
walk, and move for extended periods (2-4 hours at a time). Lift and
carry up to 50lbs for transfers and household tasks. Sufficient
hand strength and coordination to assist with personal care
activities. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach overhead as
