Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a
K-8 public school setting in the Denver, CO area. This role offers
the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of 50 students,
providing essential speech and language services tailored to
varying needs. The contract position is scheduled for the current
school year and requires a dedicated professional committed to
fostering student communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 50 students,
ranging from mild/moderate to moderate/severe challenges. Develop
and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in
collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress
and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Maintain compliance with
state and federal regulations, including accurate documentation and
reporting. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a
supportive educational environment. Qualifications: Certification
of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure for SLPs is
mandatory. Experience working with K-8 students in a school setting
is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a multifaceted caseload effectively. Location:
The position is based at Achieve Academy, Thornton, CO 80229,
within the Mapleton Public School District. Benefits: Full-time, 40
