This position offers a contract role based in the Arvada, CO area with assignment at a major medical center known for its advanced surgical care and collaborative team environment. Key Qualifications and Experience: - Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic and joint surgeries. - Current NBSTA and DORA certifications are mandatory. - Flexibility to work day and evening shifts as needed; call responsibilities required. - Self-directed with the ability to thrive in dynamic OR settings. - Preferred: Level I trauma and general trauma experience. - Ability to conduct a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding cardiovascular, neurological, and transplant operations. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic and other surgical procedures within a 14-OR suite environment. - Collaborate closely with scrub techs, anesthesia providers, surgeons, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care. - Adhere to unit policies, maintaining high standards of accountability and professionalism. - Participate actively in a team-oriented culture emphasizing patient safety and surgical excellence. Location Overview:Positioned near Arvada, CO, this role serves a facility located in Englewood, a vibrant city offering a blend of suburban comfort and urban amenities.
