Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit healthcare system,
is seeking experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurses (RN)
specialized in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care to join our team. This
position is vital in ensuring the highest quality of care for
patients with critical heart and lung conditions. Our RNs provide
specialized care in a high-tech environment, integrating
state-of-the-art medical practices with compassionate patient
interactions within our multiple hospitals and outpatient
facilities. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the
Cardiothoracic ICU. Assess patient conditions through diligent
monitoring and evaluation. Implement patient care plans and
administer medications accurately. Work collaboratively with a team
of healthcare professionals including doctors, surgeons, and other
nurses. Educate patients and their families about post-treatment
care and recovery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing
practices and standards in the cardiovascular and thoracic fields.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during
clinical processes. Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular and
pulmonary care. Proficiency in using medical software for patient
management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS and ACLS
certifications from the American Heart Association.
