Job Description:
Swedish Medical Center, a leader in healthcare excellence and a
part of HealthONE, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse (RN) for our Surgical Reconstruction department.
This role is pivotal in providing top-tier patient-centered care
within our state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will
support surgical reconstruction procedures, ensuring both safety
and the highest standards of care in post-surgical scenarios. As an
RN in Surgical Reconstruction, you will work closely with a team of
expert surgeons and healthcare professionals to facilitate recovery
and enhance patient outcomes, embodying our commitment to
excellence in medical treatment and support. Assess patient
condition and implement preoperative and postoperative nursing care
plans. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in
patients' conditions in a timely and accurate manner. Assist
surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures while
maintaining sterile environments. Administer medications, monitor
vital signs, and provide updates to physicians about patient's
recovery. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care
and health maintenance. Participate in continuous education and
training to stay abreast of the latest developments in surgical
care and reconstruction techniques. Proficiency in managing
preoperative and postoperative care. Strong understanding of
surgical procedures and safety protocols. Excellent teamwork and
communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in
a fast-paced environment. Strong empathy and dedication to
patient-centered care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of
employment. BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart
Association. Certification in Surgical Nursing (CNS) preferred.
