Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a leader in patient-focused healthcare, as a
Registered Nurse in our Regional Float Pool for Labor and Delivery
at the Birth Center, focused on night shifts. This position offers
the unique opportunity to work across several facilities in the
Colorado region, providing high-level care and support in different
settings. Ideal candidates should possess a dynamic skill set in
nursing practices related to labor and delivery, patient
management, and be prepared to adapt to various clinical
environments. This role requires the ability to work night shifts,
ensuring continuous support and care for patients during critical
times. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare setting
while specializing in the labor and delivery department during
assigned night shifts. Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Maintain flexibility
to rotate through different hospitals in the UCHealth system,
ensuring consistent and comprehensive patient care. Monitor and
report any changes in patient conditions, acting swiftly and
effectively in emergency situations. Educate and support patients
and their families regarding perinatal care and postpartum
recovery. Proficiency in fetal monitoring and perinatal care.
Strong clinical skills with ability to function in high-pressure
scenarios. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to work in multiple healthcare settings within a
regional system. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado or compact state. BLS Certification issued
by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) preferred. Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing
(RNC-OB) highly desirable.
