Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute care oncology setting. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and self-care skills. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Participate in research and continuous improvement initiatives within the oncology department. Strong clinical skills in an acute care setting Excellent patient assessment and monitoring abilities Proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing side effects Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
