Job Description:

our Progressive Care Unit. UCHealth is committed to providing

continuum of services. This role is pivotal in ensuring
high-quality care and support for patients with complex needs. The
fellowship is designed to provide extensive training and
professional development to nurses in an advanced hospital setting,
preparing them to handle critical patient situations with
confidence and skill. Provide comprehensive nursing care to
patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor patient condition,
report changes, and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate
with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient
care plans. Participate in unit-based educational programs and
workshops to improve clinical skills. Administer medications and
document therapeutic effects. Prepare patients and families for
continued care after hospital discharge. Proficiency in patient
assessment and triage. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to operate medical equipment within a critical care
setting. Capacity for making decisions in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of infection control practices. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have a current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification required.
