Swedish Medical Center, a leader within the HealthONE network, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist for weekend shifts to join our dynamic medical imaging team. This role provides an opportunity to work in a patient-focused environment that values groundbreaking medical techniques and high standards of care. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies essential for physician diagnosis, employing state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest quality care. Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures adhering to hospital protocols Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate imaging techniques Prepare patients for procedures by explaining methods, thus reducing anxiety and obtaining cooperation Ensure the safety of patients during all imaging processes Maintain radiographic equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and report any malfunctions Document imaging processes and patient data accurately in the medical record Comply with all healthcare regulations regarding radiation and patient safety Proficiency with various radiologic equipment and technology Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Excellent patient management skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state licensure as required
