Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Westminster, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,589 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) Specialty: Generalist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Not required for submission Certifications: MLT or MLS certified via ASCP or AMT Must-Have: Recent blood bank experience Description: Hiring Process includes profile review and an interview with the unit manager. All core lab areas will be covered, including blood bank. No Microbiology experience is required. Performing phlebotomy is not necessary for this position. LIS systems experience is needed (examples include Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, etc.). The charting system in use is EPIC. The Chemistry department utilizes EXL Dimension equipment. Hematology is performed using Sysmex XN. Blood bank operations involve the use of ECHO UA and Clinitek. Coagulation testing is conducted with Sysmex CS 2500. Assigned shifts are in the afternoon/evening with the option to pick up additional shifts. Every other weekend is required. Holiday work is also required. No on-call or standby call requirements exist. Professional dress is required in standard colors. Department-specific orientation will be provided. Cancellations may occur up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. No BSN is required for this position. This position is within an acute care setting.
