This role is pivotal in conducting computed tomography scans to aid in patient diagnosis, adhering to protocols that ensure safety and accuracy, and collaborating closely with radiologists to deliver timely results. Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and industry standards. Review and evaluate developed x-rays or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with radiologists to assess and interpret scans, providing technical assistance as necessary. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Maintain patient records and adding diagnostic notes to patient medical charts. Consult with other medical team members to recommend further diagnostic procedures or treatments, when necessary. Perform regular maintenance checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Proficient in handling and operating CT imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and radiology protocols Ability to interpret and execute complex written and oral instructions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography preferred
