Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work varied schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit requirements • Based at North Colorado Medical Center with expected floating to Loveland Campus or BFC as needed • Must be proficient in caring for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical/surgical patients • Required certifications: Colorado CAPS, BLS, and NIHSS • Must be able to read telemetry strips • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with organizational policies • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs • Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely • Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members • Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans • Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed • Participate in patient and family education • Must possess current valid RN license and maintain clinical competencies • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with multiple campus locations.
