detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at South Denver

specialists, labs, nurses, and medical records into one coordinated
system so patients receive seamless care close to home. As a
Medical Assistant, you will support providers and ensure patients
receive excellent care during their visit. Key responsibilities
include: - Room patients and perform patient intake - Obtain and
document vital signs and medical histories - Update patient
information in the electronic medical record (EMR) - Assist
providers during exams and procedures - Perform point-of-care
testing within scope of certification - Maintain exam rooms and
medical supplies - Clean and disinfect treatment rooms after visits
- Manage provider voicemail and EMR inbox messages - Support
pre-visit planning and patient flow - Assist front desk with
check-in, scheduling, and phones as needed - Follow HIPAA
guidelines and clinical protocols - Assist with in-office
procedures - Contact Hospitals and gather required documentation
when needed Required • High School Diploma or GED • Graduate of an
accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, EMT, LPN) or equivalent
experience • Current BLS certification • Strong computer skills •
Some Medical Assistant experience Preferred • Certified Medical
Assistant (CMA) • 1–3 years of clinical experience • Experience
with Athenahealth EMR • Experience in OBGYN, Family Medicine, or

this role. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to
handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or
crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally
lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and
