Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a renowned Colorado-based, nonprofit health care
system, as a traveling Physical Therapist for our outpatient rehab
clinics. This role involves providing exceptional, personalized
patient care in varying locations, adapting to different clinical
environments while upholding the standards of UCHealth. The
successful candidate will diagnose and treat individuals who have
medical problems or health-related conditions that limit their
abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily
lives. Assess patient condition by examining muscle strength,
mobility, balance, and coordination. Develop and implement
treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
Travel to multiple outpatient clinic locations as assigned,
adapting skillset to different environments. Educate patients and
their families about the recovery process and how to cope with
challenges during treatment. Document patient care services and
treatment plans in accordance with UCHealth procedures and
compliance standards. Strong understanding of physical therapy
modalities and treatment techniques. Ability to adapt treatment
plans based on patient progress and clinical environment changes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting
with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Capable of handling physical demands of the job including moving
and transporting patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a
Physical Therapist. CPR certified. Valid driver’s license and
willingness to travel to multiple locations.
