Job Description:
UCHealth, a respected nonprofit health system in Colorado, is
seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical
Technologist II to join our multidisciplinary surgical team. As a
key component of our operating room staff, you will work closely
with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other
surgical personnel in delivering patient-centered care during
surgical procedures. This role requires precise attention to
detail, exceptional technical skills, and a commitment to
maintaining a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures to
ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Prepare operating rooms
for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and
operational. Assist in surgical operations under the guidance of
surgeons and registered nurses. Maintain sterile conditions
throughout surgical procedures. Monitor and restock surgical
supplies. Adhere to safety standards and protocols to maximize
patient safety and care quality. Operate and troubleshoot surgical
equipment. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as
needed. Strong knowledge of sterile procedures and aseptic
techniques. In-depth understanding of surgical instruments and
equipment. Ability to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced,
high-pressure environment. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Competency in applying clinical knowledge
related to surgery and patient care. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from
the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
(NBSTSA). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
