(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A surgical technologist
plays a critical role in supporting surgeons, nurses, and
anesthesiologists during operations by ensuring the availability
and timely delivery of necessary instruments. This position
requires the ability to anticipate surgeon needs to maintain
efficiency and safety throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities also include monitoring certain equipment, setting
up and maintaining a sterile surgical field, and collaborating
closely with medical team members. Key Responsibilities: Prepare
and maintain the surgical field and assist surgical staff as needed
Hand instruments to the surgeon promptly and efficiently during
procedures Assemble, transport, and retrieve surgical equipment,
ensuring all items leave the operating room Maintain sterile
linens, saline, lights, suction machines, and other necessary
equipment Inspect, decontaminate, and repair surgical instruments,
keeping inventory accurate and up to date Conduct pre- and
post-operative patient care, including shaving, transporting, and
applying dressings Qualifications and Experience: NBSTSA
certification (required, must be attached with submission) BLS
certification through the American Heart Association (required,
must be attached) Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a
Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting Ability to work 8-hour
shifts Location:This role is located in Hudson, WY, a community
