Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare, a leading not-for-profit health system
based in Utah, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join
our team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic
imaging services that support patient care across our hospitals and
clinics. The ideal candidate will leverage state-of-the-art
technology to perform diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient
comfort and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients as directed
by the Radiologist. Maintain, calibrate, and clean ultrasound
equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Record and analyze the
ultrasound images and provide a preliminary summary of findings to
the Radiology team. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans,
explaining procedures and answering any questions. Collaborate with
other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain patient records and manage imaging data, complying with
healthcare regulations and standards. Proficiency in operating
ultrasound imaging devices Ability to interpret sonographic images
and identify abnormalities Excellent patient communication and
empathetic skills Strong technical skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of current health and safety regulations in medical
imaging Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by
the ARDMS CPR certified
