Director of Community Impact Location: Breckenridge, CO Position
Type: Full-Time Exempt Compensation: $109,720 - $137,280 (DOE)

You will oversee a diverse portfolio spanning employee experience,
sustainability, internal communications, events, and philanthropic
giving. You will serve as a trusted connector, collaborating across
departments to elevate BGV's brand in the community while fostering
a culture of service and engagement among our team members. From
guiding the Employee Assistance Fund to shaping sustainability
initiatives and leading high-impact employee events, you will
ensure that every program delivers measurable value and aligns with

Oversee and ensure the success of multiple BGV programs focused on
people (Employee Experience, Internal Communications, Events),
planet (Sustainability), and prosperity (BGV Gives) Promote a
philanthropic mindset across BGV by supporting BGV Gives
initiatives including the Employee Assistance Fund, Volunteer Time
Off (VTO), sponsored events, and the grant process In partnership
with the Sustainability team, advise and help execute all
sustainability initiatives, including future BGV developments
Support the Employee Experience Team’s efforts to ensure a
sustainable workforce that is trained and motivated to provide
exceptional customer service In collaboration with the Internal
Communications and Events team, ensure employee events meet their
intended purpose while engaging employees (e.g., Leadership Summit,
Holiday Party, RAM Legacy In Action) Elevate and promote BGV’s
commitment to people, planet, and prosperity through brand
awareness and CSR efforts both internally and externally Work with
BGV Marketing to ensure brand continuity across all areas Promote
BGV Gives initiatives in the community; help managers succeed with
PR and media plans to further BGV’s commitments Promote BGV in
industry and trade associations Articulate ROI for all aspects of
BGV Gives work to ensure alignment with BGV’s business needs and
goals Ensure accurate and timely creation of the annual BGV Gives
Department budget and related budgets; meet or exceed budgeted
goals Review all BGV Gives Department financials and provide
analysis for budget-to-actual variances monthly In conjunction with
the department executive and key stakeholders, develop measurable
goals and report key metrics to the Executive Team on a regular
basis Identify, understand, prioritize, track, and act upon
emerging issues and industry trends related to people, planet, and
prosperity Manage all BGV Gives staff following BGV Results
Leadership operating procedures for recruiting, hiring, training,
retaining, developing, coaching, scheduling, reviewing,
disciplining, and terminating Provide guidance and support; serve
as a team leader Ensure thorough, regular training that drives
results and ensures consistent staff knowledge and performance
Delegate daily work tasks and projects; check work for quality
control and ensure staff productivity Work with staff to resolve
issues in the spirit of OneBGV; consult with department managers as
needed Perform staff evaluations and follow up to ensure
improvement Establish, communicate, and reinforce company policies,
procedures, and standards with staff Monitor staff performance,
manage individual performance, and maintain accurate performance
records Handle and track staff tardiness, sick days, and
absenteeism Uphold and ensure all staff uphold BGV Standards,
Company Culture, and company policies Attend events related to the
work of the BGV Gives Department, as needed Serve on community and
other boards, as needed (marginal duty) Follow company guidelines
for environmental sustainability practices, including recycling,
composting, and conserving resources (marginal duty) Participate in
the Emergency Response Plan per emergency evacuation, wildland
fire, safety, and business continuity plans (marginal duty) Perform
other tasks as may be requested or assigned by members of the
Executive Team Requirements Relevant bachelor's degree (B.A.) from
a four-year college or university; or 10 years of related
management experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of
education and experience 7 years of supervisory experience managing
direct and indirect reports across multiple departments 5 years of
advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) Ability to create spreadsheets, write formulas, and
perform internet research Ability to operate and maintain standard
office equipment Advanced English proficiency: ability to read,
analyze, and interpret complex documents; write speeches and
articles; and deliver persuasive presentations to executive and
public audiences Strategic leadership with ability to develop
measurable goals and report metrics to executive leadership
Financial acumen: budget management, ROI analysis, and variance
reporting Conflict resolution and emotional intelligence when
handling sensitive matters Change management: ability to
communicate, implement, and adapt strategies Team building:
motivate staff, give recognition, and foster positive team culture
High attention to detail, initiative, and commitment to
confidentiality Customer service excellence with ability to set
example for staff Ability to define problems, collect data, draw
conclusions, and adapt to changing conditions Ability to interpret
instructions in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to compute
ratios, percentages, discounts, and interpret bar graphs Ability to
apply basic algebra, geometry, and probability concepts Prolonged
sitting, computer use, and repetitive arm/hand motions (over 2/3 of
time) Standing and walking (1/3 to 2/3 of time) Lift up to 25 lbs
(under 1/3 of time) Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
required Preferred Qualifications: Sustainability Certification –
Professional certification in sustainability preferred Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) Certification – Professional
certification in CSR preferred Spanish Language Proficiency –
Ability to speak Spanish preferred Community Board Experience –
Experience serving on community and other boards Industry
Association Involvement – Familiarity with or active participation
in industry and trade associations related to people, planet, and
