About ASRC Agile Decision Sciences
We are a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are currently seeking Software Engineers to join our team based in Colorado Springs, CO. Candidates will work in an Agile team environment, actively engaging in sprints, Agile process activities, software development, and testing.
Responsibilities

• Writing code in C++ and Java
  
• Creating and running unit tests
  
• Developing software documentation
  
• Performing test planning, monitoring, and execution of test activities
  
• Reviewing and verifying system-level and software-level requirements
  
• Developing and executing automated software test cases in CI/CD pipeline
  
• Collaborating with stakeholders and government customers
  
• Working within an Agile team environment, including iteration planning, feature and story development, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  
• Participating in demos and sprint reviews
  
  Required Qualifications
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and 5 years of related experience
  
• Active Secret Security Clearance
  
• Experience with automated software requirements testing and analysis
  
• Knowledge of Software Containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker)
  
• Experience with DevSecOps and Jenkins CI/CD automation
  
• Unix/Linux operating system experience
  
• Object-oriented programming experience in C++, Java, or similar
  
• Understanding of modeling and simulation
  
• Ability to support an in-person, closed-area work environment
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  
  
• Experience with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitLab)
  
• Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
  
• Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
  
• Development of automation tools and test cases
  
• Proficiency with Linux, scripting, and operations
  
• Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency programs or systems
