Job Title: Staff Software Development Engineer
Maxar is looking for an enthusiastic Staff Software Development
Engineer to join its MGP integrations team, with a passion for
solving complex problems with customer driven objectives and is
willing to learn and develop the tools and technologies related to
GIS applications.
Our talented MGP integrations team at Maxar consists of full stack
developers, Enterprise Architects and database experts who work
closely together to build plugins, dashboards, tools and workflows
for our Geospatial Products and Production systems supporting our
internal and external stakeholders.

Your Project: This role would require the team member to be a quick
learner and a senior contributor who would develop full stack
solutions to enable and automate workflows within client-side
software and also web based
applications. You will contribute your expertise to develop
front-end UI and also back-end
architecture necessary to meet customer requirements. You will be
responsible for gathering customer requirements, driving toward
deadlines, collaborating with the eGIS DBA
to build the add-ins for GIS applications. You would be
occasionally tasked with upgrading the GIS environment and
infrastructure maintenance and deployments. You will assist with
training, documentation, and presentations related to custom
solutions.

This position is hybrid with several days a week on-site with your
colleagues in Westminster, CO.

In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges
on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate's starting pay
will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined
based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the
experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work
location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum
necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for
the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay
range.
The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $98,000.00 -
$164,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input
to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each
location where we hire may have a different range.
