Our firm is looking for an applicant who can manage case files from start to finish and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. We need someone with excellent credentials, a real passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. Responsibilities:

--- Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
--- Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
--- Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
--- Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
--- Appear as legal counsel on the clients' behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation


Qualifications:

--- Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
--- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
--- A bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
--- A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary
--- Proficiency in computers is vital
--- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
--- Admission to the bar in Colorado
--- Proven experience in pre-litigation procedures and case management
--- Strong negotiation and communication skills
--- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
--- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
--- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
--- Must be willing and able to commute to our office in Lakewood, Colorado
--- The ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement
