A successful Janitor will clean thoroughly AND ensure all consumable supplies are refilled in the restrooms and kitchens, ensure the customer never runs out of these supplies by alerting our office when supplies are running low so we can place the order, learn about different cleaning chemicals and how/when to apply them and how to store each properly and learn to use some larger equipment like scrub and buff machines.

Responsibilities:

--- Perform daily janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash
--- Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
--- Report areas cleaned and make sure managers know if major repairs are needed
--- Refill consumable supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Communicate with our office when supplies are running low
--- Maintain a clean and orderly janitor supply closet
--- Learn the basics of cleaning chemicals and follow use instructions

Qualifications:

--- Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
--- Great physical health and stamina
--- Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required
--- At least 1 years of experience in janitorial services
--- Familiarity with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
