is nights: Thursday, Friday, Saturday HCA HealthONE Swedish is a
Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center with the fastest
door to needle time in the United States. This is an excellent
opportunity to learn "wake up" stroke protocols, cardiac MRI,
functional brain MR, and MRI guided Ultrasound ablation procedures

expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications This position is nights:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday HCA HealthONE Swedish is a Level 1
trauma and comprehensive stroke center with the fastest door to
needle time in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity
to learn "wake up" stroke protocols, cardiac MRI, functional brain
MR, and MRI guided Ultrasound ablation procedures for Parkinson's
disease.As an MRI technologist, you will operate MRI scanners and
ensure that the procedure produces quality images and information
for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis.
Utilize your medical knowledge by interviewing patients, explaining
the procedure and placing the patient in the appropriate spot on
the table. Technologists are also organized, detail-oriented people
who are familiar with the anatomical area that is being scanned and
the patient's history. A few responsibilities of our MRI
Technologist include:You will position and prepare patients for
exams according to the type of procedure to be performedYou will be
performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and
responding to the patient's needs as appropriateYou will complete
appropriate documentation for each study performedYou will use
professional discernment and critical thinking when performing
proceduresYou will participate in orientation and training of new
staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations
You will maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols
in order to ensure the highest quality procedures What
qualifications you will need:
- Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry)
or ARMRIT certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through
AHA or ARC, as specified in policy
- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of
employment start date
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Techs, or ARRT
